Anyone interested in walking

Hi, we live in Nefiach, which is between Perpignan and Prades, and would like to know if anyone is interested in walking.  We generally walk around the Prades area, Estagel and the Alberes.  We would like to form a walking group, no cost involved, any interested people out there?  Short or long walks, no marching!  We have retired out here, we are in our late 50's, all ages and abilities welcome.  Lyn and Arthur

I'm not in your area but nearly every village round here has a group of Randonneurs.  Great way to meet the locals, too.  Ask at your Mairie and you may find there's a ready-made group near you.  We have had great times with our lot.  Of course, this is not to dissuade you from starting your own of course...

It is very likely that there is a walking group nearby, as Coops (she of the narrow screen) says.  Our village bunch goes out every Sunday morning - they drive off somewhere then walk.  They also do longer walks of a day or more several times a year.  These walking groups seem to be everywhere.

Thanks, we live in a small village, unfortunately there is no walking group locally, there is one about half an hour away which we intend to join

That's a shame.  Ancinnes isn't exactly a metropolis (about 600 in the village and another 400 scattered about the rest of the commune).  Is your commune really teeny?

Half an hour is a long way to go.  [:(]  I'm assuming by car, not on foot?  [;-)]
