anniefromwales Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 Hi to all the mobile surfers in the south east, I am thinking of working on a campsite in Argeles sur Mer over the summer and was wondering about getting a dongle from sfr so I could have mobile internet. Does anyone happen to know if this would work here? On sfr's map it looks as if they have 3G coverage in this area but can anyone with local knowledge confirm? I'm on La Roseraie & I sometimes have to walk up to the front gate to make a phone call. That said, when I do get a signal at the van, I am able to use internet on the phone, so there's no reason why 3G wouldn't work.If you have a laptop with wireless & the site has WIFI, it might be cheaper to buy an unlimited access WIFI pass from the campsite & use that (you might even get a staff discount!).
