Last night, the first day of summer time, we were able to eat our evening meal outside - it was just warm enough (we loose the sun off the terrace quite early) for a slightly early meal.  The first time eating outside in the evening this year!  I checked last year's diary, and we certainly didn't eat outside last year on the same day - it was windy and cold .....  and typically - today is grey and more windy, no sun at all!!

We have eaten outside several times now but our first BBQ was a few nights ago.

On the whole, judging by lunchtime outside I would have said that Spring is late this year, but it's true that I don't eat out side in the evening much until it gets hotter.

Q - perhaps it depends on how sheltered you are - in our part of the Aude the wind can be the destroyer!  When I was last over your way (Rennes-le-Chateau area actually in February) it was actually much warmer than here, as there was no wind.......
