Change of plan

Hi,

After an abrupt change of plan (was going to be Montpellier) we are now moving to Paris in August with our two primary school age children. We want at least 2 bedrooms, don't want to spend more than 1200 euros/month on rent, do want to live in an arrondissement that's safe, do need to be near a decent (french) school. Can anyone help? We've heard the 10th and 11th are okay, and maybe the 17th and 18th.
