It will trend southwest� to join the A12 some miles west of the route of the duplex tunnel and be shorter in length (7.5km, 4.7mi) according to the plan.Cofiroute officials have taken to publishing maps of the project without the second full height vehicles tunnel being shown and they call the project "under study."
