elamessa
Hi all,I have searched for the information I want but cannot seem to find the answer.I had a new condensing boiler fitted in 2010 along with double glazed windows and last year a replacement log burner all in my primary residence. I have the receipts for this work from the artisans that did the work.I should have claimed for the tax credit in 2011 but it completely slipped my mind :-(....Can anyone tell me which boxes I should be filling on the 2047K and 2042K.Thanks in advance for your help.Steve
idun
No, you should not claim on the form for 2012 when this was done in 2011 and 2010, it is not allowed. Your tax form for 2012 is 'just' for stuff done in 2012.I would contact the tax people, as they can go back three years and explain that you had forgotten, and they may say it is OK, and if they do, get it in writing. But it is not true that you did these things in 2012 and I would say, do not do it.
