Just a plain old english pension yet not a plain tax form

Hi,

I have read the section in the guidance here about pensions but I am still confused,

I have, since September, reached the ripe old pensionable age and have since stopped paying contributions as an auto entrepreneur and succeeded in cancelling that perfectly !

I have put my pension in section 1 on the 2047, I have then transferred that to 1AS, but my question is on the 2047

Is section VI just for taxed pensions ?

so I just need to do the note in section VIII ?

Do I need to do one of the 8 notes on the 2042 like 8TK?

Do you mean an OAP by 'plain old English pension'?

If so it is taxable in France but not in the UK and it should be included in the total in 1AS.

That means there is nothing to claim back in tax credit so nothing to put in section V1

If you are receiving health cover under an S1 as someone getting a UK OAP is usually entitled to there is nothing to put in section V111 either.

If on the other hand it is France who pays your health care, as a result of your work as an auto-entrepreneur, then your total income is subject to social contributions and should be entered in section V111

Yes, I am a OAP - and get no other pensions or income,

We, my wife and I, now get cover under the S1 so we have closed the autoE which was in her name and I was a dependent for health care proposes.

If I dont need to fill 2047 V1 or V111 where do I put the phase

"titulaire d'assurance maladie privée complete, exempt de CSG et CRDS sur revenus de remplacement"

to stop the costilations,

?

Hi

If you have an S1 form then you do not have full private health insurance. There is a section on page 2 of the 2042 form (RENSEIGNMENTS COMPLEMENTAIRES) where you can state that you are covered for healthcare by the S1 form. I normally put "Titulaire de formulaire S1, pas a la charge d'assurance maladie). You could also write the same thing in Secion VIII of the 2047.
