Malcolm Golding
We've just moved to Normandy (Coutances but will shortly be moving into a house near Villedieu) and would love to hear from any other Catholics in the area with a view to sharing liturgy and faith. Boiling a frog
As the majority of French are Roman catholics shouldnt be a problem in finding people to share with Just ask your neighbour or go to the local church on Sunday
Malcolm Golding
Should pehaps have made clear that we are seeking to make contact with English speaking catholics. The French catholics we have met have been very welcoming but it would also be nice to share our faith in our mother tongue.
Battypuss
Well, I'm not exactly local, being in St Lô and without a car, but you might be interested to know I was baptised on the 19th December 2004....45 years too late! My three children are also catholics. And yes, we're English. Try studying the Cathechism in French with an off the wall nun and a dithering priest and you can understand real commitment was necessary.I agree with trying the local church. People here tend to go rather than discuss.
