Only problem is that you havn't said where your house is (not the full address, just dept or nearest large town). Marmite by the way is freely available here in most of the larger hypermarkets along with lots of other favourites of the british.

I am near plouguenast and tend to shop in Leclerc in Loudeauc.  Iwas un-aware we could get british favourites that we all miss so much.  Where do you shop Val 2? Perhaps i need to go to a bigger shop like Carrefour in St Brieuc?

I'm near to Morlaix but my daughter lives in St.Brieuc and in Carrefour there you can get many british favourites including fresh cheddar at the moment at 12,20€/kg and Hovis crumpets. Super U here does a lot of stuff as does Géant but you pay double the price of the UK and don't forget the Comptoire Irelandaise franchises who do a lot of stuff including Cadbury (made in Ireland) chocolate and Golden Syrup,Treacle,Biscuits etc. Talking of LeClerc at Loudéac, my daughter did a promotion for Rockhopper Airlines at the beg of last Dec in the foyer, did you see them there?

Hi Val 2

No i didn't see the promotion in Leclerc as we have only been here since a week before Christmas.  Don't often go to Carrefour but will have to maybe make special trips there now.  It must be your husband Val who is re-wiring Margarets house there in Morlaix?  Do you know how far you are from us here in little old Plouguenast?  Can't find my map and be interesting to know how far away Morlaix is.

Yes it's my husband doing that work,in fact he is there today working hard to help them get their move a little closer. I think we are a good couple of hours from you, it takes us exactly an hour to St.Brieuc driving sensibly and even before we start we have to drive 8 miles to reach the N12 from here. I can tell you that Morlaix - St.Malo is exactly 116 miles.
