Teamedup
Do the locals sound the 'c' or not.
chicfille
No, they don't. It's "Sang Bree-euh".In case you're interested in such things, my husband did tell me that the locals of Loudeac, which most French/Bretons prononce "Loo-day-ack", don't sound their "c" either, so it comes out "Loo-day-ah". But only for the true born and breds.
Teamedup
Thanks, I know that some places did sound their 'c's and I was never sure with St Brieuc. In the Savoy regions the 'x' at the end are often sounded as are the 'z's.
