Loiseau
Has anyone ever tried the Bagatelle amusement park at Merlimont (Pas de Calais)?I have just realised that to take the family this summer would cost at least 98 euros (EEK!), so don't want to make an expensive mistake! It's for four (hyper)active boys, aged 12, 10, 7 and 2. Angela
Eskenazi
No, it's not worth it! Go instead to Dennlys Parc, north of Fruges. Much xheaper, and much more fun.
Loiseau
Hi Eskanazi,Yes, they already tried that one last year, and it was voted a big hit. Even the oh-so-cool oldest one found enough to keep him amused.I visited Bal Parc at Tournehem the other day, in the interests of research, and thought that would be fine for little kids too - there are miniature quad-bikes for 7 upwards, as well as miscellaneous roundabouts, trad chair-o-planes, pedaloes (and an extra-shallow lake for mini-pedaloes), farm for kids to stroke animals etc. But I think if they have done Dennlys, the oldest might find Bal Parc a bit tame. But I do think the Bagatelle charges are a bit steep. It would be cheaper to have them take up golf, really. [;-)](Actually, there's a thought...)Angela
