overmonnow
Can anyone recommend any decent immobiliers in the Limoges area - we have contacted a few but wondered if anyone had any suggestions, people they had used previously? (Tailored to lower end of market preferably). ThanksAlistair

Leschenauds
We always suggest to our guests to look at the local Notaires first www.notaires.fr and look at their immobilier section. You can select the area you want and look in a number of price brackets. Among the better agencies are vert et Bleu ( you can find these on a search engine) , Central France Properties and www.fralimo.com. If you need to know any more let me know.www.leschenauds.com

We bought a barn for less than £20k and they treat us like we were spending a million. We are still in contact and they have helped with EDF and everything else, no extra expense. Fantastic (we drop off the odd bottle of wine as a thanks)Also in St Leonard is one called Vert et Bleu. also very good to deal with.

Libby
Try ABC Immobilier in Argenton sur Creuse - www.immoabc.co.uk , very helpful with us - no extra fees for their British Clients. My advice, after all the people we visited stick to the notaires or the french agents and avoid the people/companies who charge you a fee on top.Libby

Pko
Try Pieter and Wilma at www.francehouses.com They are a Dutch couple who give excellent service and have many English costumers. We bought through them and the after-sales service leaves nothing to be desired.Paul and CarinLa Grange Vieille

Leshirondelles
Hi,you'll find a list of immobiliers in the Limousin region at www.golimousin.net - I don't particularly recommend any in particular but our visitors have used a number of them and so far no bad feedback Colin. Mikes
We can also thoroughly recommend Pieter and Wilma at www.francehouses.com. We bought through them a couple of years ago and they were very helpful - not just during the buying process, but also providing us with useful contacts and advice until we found our feet. They are based near St Solve - about 10km south of Arnac Pompadour.Mike & Kathy
