Teamedup
Firstly get a copy of the Argus, always on sale in newsagents here. Car sales are based around this and you will be able to see what your car is worth. If you have driven over the average allowance kms per year, 25000 per year for diesel and I think 10k OR 15K per year for petrol, it is all marked and then you reduce the amount your car is worth by so many cents per extra km, that too I believe is indicated. Also garages do part exchange. But I have found it incrediby difficult to negociate with garages in the past. Sometimes seems like the would rather lose out on a sale than drop a price even a little. Creusois
Your admitted limited French limits your selling options - try PX with a dealer or MPV specialist - but don't expect to negotiate a price.
