Benjamin
BannonI was going to suggest this when you first posted but as you seemed to be on the point of receiving professional advice I didn't.I appreciate that not everyone finds financial products esay to understand but your area of enquiry is not the most complicated to follow.Your first port of call should probably be contact with whoever is currently holding your pot. They are obliged by UK law to explain in fair and simple language the various options open to you in converting your fund into an income, or the options for leaving your fund invested and deferring taking an income. The second move I would make is to Google something like Annuities UK. Even adding the UK bit you will still need to filter out anything to do with American annuities. If you then start to come up with specific questions then ask those and I or someone professionally qualified to give advice may be able to help. This advice is given in good faith but I accept no responsibility.
