Suninfrance
For those of you who fancy learning riding the Western way, I can recommend Ranch Tashunka just outside St Sylvestre near Limoges. We have just come back from 2 hours with the owner who took us through our paces from scratch. Bringing in the horses, brushing them, saddling them up and bridles. We then went into the training ring and he demonstrated how things should be done. After a tentative start, we all got the hang of it and were left to our own devices while the owner gave us instruction from outside the ring. Considering OH hasn't ridden at all, and I haven't ridden for 30 odd years, we all did pretty well under the guidance of our tutor. Mind you, I'm sure we will all have sore backsides tomorrow!!!!!All of the horses are extremely good natured and gentle and will respond to the lightest touch. If you want more detail visit www.ranch-tashunka.fr .Happy riding.Jan
