24hr Petrol Station nr Limoges Airport.

I wonder if anyone can suggest a 24hr filling station near the airport at Limoges.

We will be dropping off an hire car early in the morning before our return flight.

We are picking the car up from Bergerac so will not have the opportunity to reccy the area beforehand.

If you're travelling up the A20 and leaving the motorway at Junction 28 to go to the airport, there's a Cora with the usual credit card automated system at Junction 29, which is only about 1km before the airport junction. From there the airport's no more than 20 minutes drive so your tank should still be registering as full! The airport area's very poorly served with filling stations.

We used a petrol station just off the N141 (24/7 card), about 10 mins from the airport. It's number 2 on THIS map (you will have to zoom in)

Just a point about Limoges Airport Car Hire.

A while ago I took a car back and the guy said he would take my word that the tank was full ( It was raining very hard at the time )

A week later I got a bill for 70 Euro as a surcharge for refueling ( taken off my credit card )

Lucky, I kept the receipt from the petrol station with the time and date to prove I had filled it up 15 minutes earlier

So I got my money back after complaining.

Keep the receipt !
