Jo53
When will the French actually bother to look up the meaning of the English words that they seem to prefer to their own language for just about everything? ;-)Seen in the newsagents (in France) today:magazine for young girls (10-14ish) called 'Witch'.The cover design was pastel pink and girly, not a goth in sight. Spotted on a cardboard graffitti-covered 'wall' in a clothes shop window display: the graffittied word 'arse'.
Jo53
oh for goodness sake, can't you say 'arse' on the forum. I didn't know the new system came complete with big brother software. Yes, that's right, I typed alpha romeo charlie echo and it was automatically changed to arse!! How frightfully cunning. The word the powers that be think we would all be to shocked to see is 'ar*e', as in Arsenal FC.
