Tresco
I've been dithering around wondering where to post this item. It made me laugh so it's ended up here. It's a video (that's been on youtube for ages) of a young African-French guy 'rapping' about living in a tiny rural town. Someone showed it to my son and he phoned me asking for a translation. I'd never heard of it before. I can only help him with parts of it, as some of it's too quick for me, but really, it's all in the images. [:)]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOJ6OsTmgGcI don't think he wrote the song, but he's been interviewed on TV/Radio etc, and I think he's been offered a recording deal. Tresco
That would be great Dave!Presumably the villagers who get in on the act at the end aren't the ones he criticises...[Www]I don't suppose anyone here lives near Marly Gamont?. It's in Aisne.

Lori
I can't catch all the lines either, but I like how he incorporates the various residents. I loved it. I'll have daughter give it a look see after school today. Its one of those tunes you can turn on while you do the house keeping and just keep running it over and over. Just Katie
Funny that, Twinks played it for me when I was over last week and translated it. Brilliant. That is what race relations are all about.
