Benjamin
Just a thought but what will the Suns and Daily Mails of this world make of it all when the first wave of Brits either unable or unwilling to pay for private medical cover arrive back on UK soil having been deported from France. On second thoughts ma be the spectre of this happening will make the respective Governments and Embassies get their collective finger out and sort this debacle. Will
I am sure it will reinforce all the anti-European (and anti-French in particular) prejudices that are often found in their pages. Though it won't stop them clamouring for Britain to close its doors to Eastern European scroungers, and to either chuck out or string up the existing ones. I see it now - "after all we did for the Frogs in two world wars this is how they repay the British... Still, those poor individuals who merely wanted to escape the tyranny of Tony Blair could not have reckoned on the even more tyrannical Sarkozy. Our glorious cousins in America would never let us down in that way..."
