Chateau Miaou
[:D][:D] I just want to know who crept into to my bedroom and filmed that - come on, own up whoever it was! Apart from the baseball bat, I have been on the receiving end of all the rest - gotta be a cat lover, fab!
5-element
Yep, my cat down to a tee as well - on top of that, she also nudges my neck, rolls over on my face, starts licking my ear, tries to disentangle my hair and ends up biting my skull - hard! (no baseball bat available here).
ali-cat
That is so accurate - it's scary!!Glad to hear we're not the only ones with a cat who like biting heads!! Penny loves nothing more than nuzzeling up, purring in your ear, nudging your head ........ & then sinking her teeth in as far as she can ...... bless her!! Pads
Its just mother cat keeping naughty kittens under control, you really should learn to behave Ali cat before you lose your ears [:-))] and whiskers
5-element
Ali-Cat, do you have any idea what this head-biting is about, as you have so much more experience of cats than I have? She doesn't do it much, but when she does, ouch!!!! I wonder what she thinks she is biting. Pads do you think this is why they do it, mine has never been a mother, she never got the chance poor thing, was sterilised before, so she doesn't know what it is like to have kittens. Unless instinct prevails?I, too, am glad that there are others who do it, as I thought my cat might be a little deranged!
Pads
Our female cat who has never had kittens will do this to us and our other cat and dog, I always thought it was just her way of saying stop wiggling while im trying to wash your hair. 5-element
I thought mine does that when she gets tangled up in my hair (fairy long), she tries to wash it but then starts to fight it as if it is attacking her!She is only the second cat I have ever homed, the first one was a Siamese and of course totally weird. Chateau Miaou
(fairy long)
Was this a typo for 'fairly long' or did you mean 'fairy long'? Must have been a touch of central European accent creeping in, as in "fairy very long". I am no fairy - as others have found at their expense, I am really a witch![6]
londoneye
Yup, exactly my cat's morning repetoire (except for the baseball bat). But, if all else fails he goes to bottom of bed, sticks his head under covers and bites OH's toe ! Then we know he means business and REALLY wants to go out now ! Pads
Ha thats funny you should say that, our Tom will stand at the end of the bed on the floor and fish with his paw under the cover until he finds a toe to hang on to with his claw, thats after all the other head walking and pulling covers off havnt worked [:D] remind me why we put up with this ? if it was my hubby doing this to me every morning we would be divorced by now ,

mint
Other thing is, why is it that they can use the cat flap no problem when you aren't there but, when you ARE there, it's your job to open the door to let them in and out? Since when has the cat flap become redundant?
