Are you telling us you did not know?

All things are bigger in France

Ask the present or past Presidents.[:D]

hi all

Of course the french fuel is better than the uk fuel[:P]

We have always managed to get more for the gallon in france than the Uk our old renault espace (80 ltr tank)did 500 mile to the tank in england and 600 miles to the tank in France!!

Our New Kia (74 ltr tank) sedona does about 480 to the tank here and 550 to the tank in france,  I dont know why but it does[:D]

If you can tell me why then please let me know[:D]

Thanks Judith

Hi all

I now i'm sad  but....

My little twingo is giving me 50 to the gallon and that is double what my last car gave me so I love it even more now[:D]

Totally agree.  I get about 50 mpg on average in mine (even more when I fill up in France).  It's easy to park, theres plenty of room inside and it's reasonably reliable.

I wouldn't buy any other car at the moment, I love it!

Why? Are French gallons bigger than UK gallons?  [8-)]

I don't know what it is but whenever I fill up with fuel in France (usually at Leclerc), then I usually get about 3-4mpg more than using fuel from the UK.

I'm glad it's not just me, though.

I imagine its down to less gear changing, more constant speed driving on proper roads without the congestion on the UK cart tracks.

Hi

As i have said before my OH has decided he quite likes my Twingo now, that was until he came out of a shop today and found three blokes laughing at it, he waited until they had gone before he went over to it.[:P]
