Is Furryknickers aware of this?

Todays google picture is a hot-air balloon.  So as I know many of  you like to be kept informed of such goings on I took time out of my busy life to find out what it was all about.  Some of it is not pleasant.  Furryknockers will be particularly distraught to hear of such a thing.

On the 19th September 1783 Pilatre De Rozier, a scientist, launched the first hot air balloon called 'Aerostat Reveillon'. The passengers were a sheep, a duck and a rooster and the balloon stayed in the air for a grand total of 15 minutes before crashing back to the ground.

Edited.

Sorry about that Furry, that's the trouble with the I and the O being so close together.

Further edit.

Who, I wonder, got the blame? My money is on the rooster and the duck ganged up and blamed the sheep.
Where is FK when you want him?
Cathy, I'm here whenever you want me (if you are wearing those shorts) [:)]

Burt , that has really upset me tonight, I was all full of the joys of life and all tonight, because I saw the first ladybirds of the year on me lovely blue malvas. I am just getting over poor Laika, the first dog in space and the first Russian dog in space too. He was a lovely dog.

Those Russians are really clever Furry, do you think they had to get a dog whisperer in to teach Laika which buttons to push?  Coming back to earth I suppose they would just have to hope his parachute would open automatically, I can't see the whisperer teaching him how to pull the release cord with his great paws.  Not much has been heard of that other dog Balla has it?
