Weedon
Commiserations to Luiz Felipe Scolari for getting the Spanish Archer at Chelsea. The poor chap is only going to receive the balance of his £8 million contract for going now, 7 months into his job.Now how hard can that job be? I'd be willing to take a chance on selecting the Chelsea team for a month. All they have to do is to email the names of the fit players each week to me and I will send them back my team selection. £1000 a week is all I would charge...plus bonus, of course. In the immortal words of Lord (snout in the trough) Taylor "and that's cheap"I could do the press interviews by Skype if needs be, I know the words to use...sick as a parrot, over the moon, the ref was biased, it was never a penalty and hopefully I wouldn't have to use "We should never have got beat" too often. I still think they are hilarious every time I see them.

baypond
quotes from the man Scolari himself “I believe firmly in astrology. Since I was a kid, the stars told me I was a winner.”"My problem is I'm stupid, I tell the truth while others lie".

Weedon
Bit of a developement I see lads (and Cathy). I see trouble brewing already for the new bloke though. Can you imagine the reception waiting for the new manager from the rough supporters oop north for a man who goes by the name of Goose? I hope Goose was paying attention when he went through the induction course run by the KGB before he took on the Russian job, he will need to draw on that in the coming months. Keep telling yourself Goose, sticks and stones, sticks and stones!
Weedon
So David Beckham has equalled Bobby Moore's record of 108 caps (for an outfield player). Muted congratulations then to him. Bobby Moore's were all awarded for being selected for the team and playing the whole 90 minutes, many of Beckham's were as substitute when up to 16 players may have been playing in the team. Please feel free to browse the other departments of the forum and to ignore me, I just felt the need to rant. I feel better now.
