Sunday Driver
Dalby Forest is a very popular cycling venue and some of the 'expert' trails can be hazardous. Given that the current conditions are affecting emergency services cover, the Forestry Commission should be applauded for closing the forest to visitors. Bugsy
What made me smile is further down the page when after advising that it was closed to all it gives instructions on how to get there and a list of starting points where you can go to, no doubt, read the closed signs. MrCanary
Bugbear - I can see the irony you are alluding to which is amusing...Similar - yesterday evening on BBC's local news programme for East Anglia, 'Look East' was doing a live interview with people in a village pub. One old country boy was questioned by the smart young interviewer - something like this..."So, have you been able to work today?""No""Why is that?""Because of the snow""When do you hope to get back to work?""When the snow goes..."
