Especially it is meant to stop people worrying about the pension age fracas and to treat the exchange rate, interest rate rises and all such matters with the contempt they deserve...As for the Middle East, well, they are far enough away, n'est-ce pas?Mais, oui......I read that Samantha Cameron's presence is felt at London Fashion Week and, of course, there is the matter of the invite to the Royal Wedding. Why, only yesterday, OH was fretting whether our invitation has been sent to our old chateau in Departement 17!I ask you, what is such an invitation worth? I do think David Beckham looks kinda all right but Victoria! Say no more....Fergie not going to be there? Oh, well, but she is just so common......In the words of the inestimable RL Stevenson: God's in his heaven and all's right with the world....(excuse me if the quote is not 100% accurate; couldn't be bothered to look up the correct version......)
