Michael O'Leary went into a pub in Dublin.

"Pint of Guinness" he said

"That'll be one Euro" said the barman

"That's cheap"

The barman just looked at him.

"Well, where's my pint?"

"That'll be 8 Euros for the glass, three Euros for the beermat, five Euros for pouring it and a further five Euros surcharge for paying cash.

Very good but a tad unfair, I have travelled twice with returns to France for £0.02 no hold luggage, no card fee, no travel insurance etc, etc.

Don't do it any more though I drive so I don't have to go through ridiculous security issues.

MoL must be spitting feathers at the moment as the Germans announced they are going to introduce an extra tax of between 8 and 45 euros (depending on length of flight)  per person.

He's already withdrawing the Frankfurt-Hahn to Spain, Portugal and Mallorca flights and moving them to/from Charlroi

RA generates a lot of employment at Hahn which will hurt a lot if he pulls out
