Val_2 Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 That was taken some years ago at the tallest lighthouse in Europe called L'Isle Vierge not far from me in the west of Finistère near to the village of Guisseny and is a famous photograph here. If you watched the Coast programme that explored Brittany, the scots presenter actually met the lighthouse keeper and presented him with a framed copy of that famous photo. He actually only opened the door because he heard a helicopter coming otherwise he did not ever venture outside when it was rough. He had no idea the wave was coming andmanaged to get back inside before it hit. You can see his interview on Coast Brittany visit on youtube.
