There's a good one in today's Telegraph.

The piece is by 'Rollo Piaf' and reports that a stranded polar bear (named as 'Lirpa Loof' by the locals has fetched up on a remote Scottish island.

This has been brought about the melting of the icecap, but there are concerns that if more turn up and the island becomes overcrowded, then the bears could conceivably migrate further south to Glasgow where they could survive by scavenging the city's dustbins for dicarded haggis and kebabs.

The precise location is being kept secret in order to ensure that sightseers don't come to the island and try to lure the bear in to the open with inappropriate food such as Scotch Eggs.
