I admit we haven't visited it, but we often drive through that way en route to Spain, following the Aude valley up into the mountains.The countryside is pleasant and the gorges are spectacular, although we probably wouldn't swap our town, on the rural northern fringe of the Agglo de Carcassonne, for Quillan.
