Does anyone know if there is an English speaking help desk at the french tax office as have looked but cannot find one,

There isn't one at our tax office and I get the impression that each office operates semi-autonomously.

There is a lady who specifically handles (amongst other things) tax declarations from foreigners - very helpful she is too - but she only works in French.

I think there's an English speaking person at mine. I've definitely heard customers speaking in English at the counter, I couldn't hear what language the replies came back in but progress seemed to be being made.
