There used to be a good kids' book called 'Goalkeepers are Different' by, I think, Bill Norton. And they are, too. A bit like drummers.

Just been thinking about the goons,they were brilliant, there has not been anything like them since, I liked monty python as well,do you think it was just the era we went through,or were they just one off s , everyone a comedy genius.

No, it's the nose, the nose, that bothers me.  It looks like a gigantic bloated tick, and I doubt if you'd be able to pull it off, even with a dayglo green plastic hook.

Aside from the monkeys...............Does this mean the site is permanently closed or just a temporary "taken off air" until they decide how long to leave a message before deletion?

The forum is part of a bigger set up so I guess if they are jettisoning it they will have to remove links from the main site etc which all takes time, on the other hand they may well open it at a later date.

It could be a technical glitch, but I suspect that they completely under estimated the amount of work required to keep a forum 'on track' and were possibly not prepared to give that amount of attention to it, especially as they had a clear idea of where they wanted it to go, what they expected etc which seemed at odds with what several members had in mind - however I have to emphasize that is complete supposition on my part and I could be very wide of the mark.

Just have to wait and see !
