The Riff-Raff Element
Just finished watching the Muppets with the offspring. Is it me, ordoes Kermit the Frog sound exactly like Arthur as in A Prendre ou ALaisser? He looks quite similar too: is someone moonlighting and shouldwe tell the impots??? Cassis
Arthur is slightly less green. Is it true that the master of the anodyne, Mr Noel Christmas, is no longer regarded as a Muppet due to the success of the UK version?
Mistral
I think it's Cauet doing the voice. He is responsible for the Muppets being back on french TV. I watched one episode with child #2, but I'm not sure I'll bother another time. What I did find unsettling was that she put the telly on 20 minutes before (she gets a bit anxious about missing programmes) and said "oh it's les experts I'll watch the end of that" It turned out she had done that while staying with her grandparents. Maybe I'm an old fogey, but I'm not happy about a television chennel showing CSI in the middle of a sunday afternoon just before a children's programme. Especially since the children's programme has "Muppets experts" in it so they expect the kids to know what they are talking about. (nor am I happy about her grandparents letting her watch it, but that will have to go on to my long list of battles to fight)
