Lori
We have lots of clouds, but it is peeking through. Huge and gorgeous. I love the full moons this time of year. With so little city light, it really lights up the area.

Cassis
It doesn't look that big in the photo!
Lori
It was huge when it first rose into sight around 5:20 pm. Now, it is higher in the sky, so less "huge." Normally, during a full moon, I can rise around 6 or 6:30 am and see it just over the village, large and orangey - breathtaking, really.
Meg
I can't see it yet, and now I've gone and got muddy slippers try to see it with out putting on a light!!! I saw it was really pretty last night through the skylight. Right then is there something i should be planting??
Cassis
Yes. Plant yourself in front of a large scotch. The moon's gone from here, as well. I used to know a couple of theories as to why it looks larger when it is close to the horizon (it actually isn't, as comparing photos of it near the horizon and higher in the sky the same night will show) but I've forgotten them. None were very satisfactory, anyway.
Just Katie
I am having a new roof on my property. Currently there is no slate only felt. It is blowing a gale here in Wales so I may see the moon from my bed later.

Just Katie
Nice one Hugh. I walked straight into that one. Honestly though it is really scary. It is like sleeping in a tent. I can hear everything flapping about.

Miki
Well the Chelsea tie up seemed kind of topical as Wednesday night CFC hope to top the group !I saw him once perform this song at the Albert Hall and no sooner had he started, than he was abused by a Joplin fan. Weird night all round actually for one reson or another but Mr Cohen was in terrific form.

Miki
Don't know that one..............................Like a Drunk on the Wire with his midnight choir ?From the Album, I have heard a few people sing The Partisan but none better than dear Leonard and strangely enough...Paul Simon. Like Jennifer Warnes version as well.
Dick Smith
From 'Songs from a room'Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir I have tried in my way to be free. Like a worm on a hook, like a knight from some old fashioned book I have saved all my ribbons for thee. If I, if I have been unkind, I hope that you can just let it go by. If I, if I have been untrue I hope you know it was never to you. Like a baby, stillborn, like a beast with his horn I have torn everyone who reached out for me. But I swear by this song and by all that I have done wrong I will make it all up to thee. I saw a beggar leaning on his wooden crutch, he said to me, "You must not ask for so much." And a pretty woman leaning in her darkened door, she cried to me, "Hey, why not ask for more?" Oh like a bird on the wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir I have tried in my way to be free.Absolute talent imho.

Then, I want to throw myself out of the car window if he's playing.Did you see what I did then?[;-)].
