Meg
If it was summer now i'd be sitting outside still watching the stars, owls and listening to crickets. With a beer of course!
Bugsy
Treat yourself to a nice meal out.................or book a cheap flight to somewhere warm for a week. Chris Head
This is a huge subject. The long nights and short days, the rain, the wind, the cold, the snow, the fog...all of which can affect the morale and give reason to hide from life and not attack it. Don't get caught out, plan for it and use the time well.Good subject Moggy[:D]
Meg
Today it's been the fog. I had a good walk, but when you can't see 'owt it's annoying, especially as i have been desperate for a good walk for days!!! Oh and feeling so cold at the same time!!! Just Katie
Living in Wales I would prefer the winter. The weather is the same all year around which means summer is one big disappointment.Today I made cream of cauliflower soup with garlic in the slow cooker, I took the dog for a walk around the fields and got soaking wet, it was just getting dark. As I walked down the lane home and up the path my house looked really cosy with the lamps on. I came in, had a nice hot bath then watched series of unfortunate events by the fire with my soup. Lovely.

Dick Smith
Do you mean that whilst eating your soup you saw a series of unfortunate events, or did the unfortunate events happen to the soup? Original statement is ambiguous.
