Gastines
I expect everyone is aware by now that the thieves after your bank details use all the correct bank/building society logos and headings but my father-in-law has just recieved a new twist, by post and e-mail.The thieves, the correct term for them I think, have somehow managed to get a list of past employees of B.A.E. and is offering a share option. Needless to say to buy the non-existant shares you have to complete the form with your bank details, or by post, send a cheque!!!Barclay's have just had thousands of their clients scammed with the usual," a fault with our computer etc," but this time the thieves have managed to enable all the correct Barclay's help lines as well. A biscuit tin and some 4" nails is sounding a safer option as each day goes by. On our return after 5 days away we had 266 e-mails. About half in the Norton box and the rest as normal. 3 were genuine,I think!!Regards. 5 mins St.Malo.
