Pierre ZFP Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 Well, Luxembourg Ville came to a shuddering halt last night around 7:00 pm. Traffic completely gridlocked, nothing moving at all. Why? Heavy snow you ask? No, in a bizzare advertising campaign for something or the other, someone thought it would be a good idea to leave around 50 packages in the streets in the centre of town, like in front of the Palace, the German embassy and other high profile buildings. The police (quite rightly) went ape and sealed off the roads and called for bomb disposal (which has to be borrowed from Belgium as they have none of their own). Absolute chaos!
