cooperlola
This (and said thread) rather reminds me of something John Francombe once said. There was a very successful racehorse a very few years back called Rhinestone Cowboy. JF complained and said that he wanted to get the horse's name changed because every time the poor beast's name was mentioned, he ended up spending the entire day humming the bl**dy song to himself, even though he hated it with a vengeance. The very polite and sensible Henrietta Knight was also caught out one day when Best Mate (owned by fanatical Aston Villa fan, Jim Lewis, who had a habit of getting all his friends to sing the team song when his horse was victorious) won his third Cheltenham Gold Cup. During a live interview with Alastair Down, post race, she said, "Oh, no. I suppose we're going to have to listen to that f***ing song again!"Edit : Sorry, I got JL's favourite team wrong. Thanks, Leo, for pointing this out to me. It's now correct.

Patf
Frenchie has posted a few replies on topics about pets. She also offered to help me with some french phrases . Perhaps she's not too confident about contributing in english in case she makes mistakes.

TWINKLE
I think Frenchies english is excellent and I'm sure she could be a great contributor to the forum and a hive of useful information. Her taste in music sucks though[;-)] Hi sweet 17!I'm still around and do pop in here when I'm not singing my little heart out. S
Europes leading hive treatment centre is based in the Wirral.
