Clair
I agree, a very good program. We bought the dvd after the first showing and thoroughly enjoyed it:http://www.amazon.fr/Long-Round-Disc-Episode-Special/dp/B000B5KEEQhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000B5KEEQ/km-21/ref=nosimTheir other trip, The long way down, was shorter and not as enthralling. Patf
We watched it too and agree it was excellent. The whole crew deserve an award for sheer bravery. That episode crossing the river [blink]
Cendrillon
What an adventure, I am sure the experience will stay with them forever. I agree Pat the river crossing was really scary, for us and for them.
Fay
I absolutely loved it. I bought the dvd and when ever I am feeling blue I just have to watch a bit to cheer up. Made me want to go to, among other places, Mongolia.Boys and their bikes - reminds me of my boy and his bike.I even have the 'feem toon' on my ipod and that cheers me up too!I felt that Long Way Down was a bit rushed (the programme, probably not the trip), which was a shame. But anything with the wonderful Charley and Ewan is fine by me (and not forgetting Claudio).Fay
Cendrillon
Charlie Boorman is doing a new series travelling from Ireland to Australia with all sorts of different transport, this is currently being advertised on T.V. I think Claudio might be with him but no mention of Ewan so perhaps he is busy filming elsewhere.
