Pierre, I'm so glad you have posted.

Here is the link that I was going to post on the forum and so I'm going to provide it anyway:

I adored his lovely programmes and he was just so gentle and self-effacing.  You never heard him raise his voice (not for him, for instance, the antics of a Wogan) but always you see the smile and the encouraging invitation to "try it for yourselves".

You just knew he was a class act and a truly wonderful human being.

As for Morph, Morph was so endearing.........

Where would the BBC find another such as he?[:(]

[/quote]I believe that Morph inspired Nick Park (Wallace and Gromit) so Tony lives on. 

A great childhood memory and nice to know he lived a good long life.  As indeed did Oliver Postgate - a man of similar talents (in that he knew how to communicate with children whilst not boring the pants off their parents) who also died recently.
