minnie Posted April 11, 2018 Share Posted April 11, 2018 I don't know if I'm on the right lines but my book (for this year's tax return) indicates that if your child does not live with you "real" expenses up to 5795 euros can be claimed provided you can supply receipts. There is a mention of a smaller fixed amount of 3445 but they do say if the child does not live with you then the real expenses formula should be used.
