nomoss Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 I just heard Alistair Darling state that the current financial mess is the worst peacetime crisis Britain has ever experienced.As Britain is therefore at peace I guess that means that Afghanistan and Iraq are just hobby wars. Complaints against the police rocket upwards but the Chief Constables get record bonuses.I would suggest all politicians, councillors, chiefs of police and quangocrats all do a 6 month tour of duty in Afghanistan - Your Country Needs You!
