brianagain
Another article which also quotes Wallace Broecker but IMHO, more in context, gives a different viewpoint.http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/may/24/carbonemissions.climatechange1
Jonzjob
I wonder how they will store the 'man-made' CO2 and avoid the other 99% or so of naturally produced gas?Should be interesting to watch?
buelligan
Hmmm interesting stuff indeed! But all Pastafarians know that there is a direct correlation between the rise in average global temperatures and the corresponding decrease in traditional piracy (see graph). It's a no-brainer. Théière
He he, I love the credits list at the bottom buelligan [:)]Global warming, personally I believe it to be a cyclic effect, there are many articles to support that it is a phase of the sun getting hotter. That does not mean we should ignore reducing the chemicals we pump into our atmosphere, Dr Dryden's theory on the subject. We have a perfectly natural solution to C02, the plants, they take up the C02 and release the oxygen, simples! The problem being as Dr Dryden explained is we are killing of the algae and plankton on the earths largest surface area and de-foresting the bit we live on.The world cannot support the amount of people who are living on it and that will only get worse as the population expands.
