mint
Easyjet, for one, charges for Visa Debit. Only way to avoid a charge with them is to use Electron or your Carte Bleue.
Jay
Amazon UK charged me £1.25 (see here http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/1991392/ShowPost.aspx ) for using Visa debit from NatWest.
Frederick
It appears its all to do with the first 6 numbers ..a recognition as to the type of card..Some peoples systems have not been upgraded to handle this with the card change to visa debit .... Paypal say they have now sorted out theirs ...others are a bit slow it seems ... Not all banks have done the change over yet ..
