Gluestick
Hopefully, Bugsy, the fiscal Armagedon appearing shortly at all Town Halls will remove much of this resource wasting nonsense and compel local authorities to focus on essential services only.Since ZanuLab came to power, one has observed an epidemic rise in Do Gooding departments: and a simultaneous fall in effectiveness in a majority of essential services. Bugsy
Added by a friend to the Economics thread[:)]The Labour Government: Has two cows worth about £500.00. Itspends 2 million on cameras and surveillance, another 25 million on aquango to oversee the operation. It then finds out one of the cows isan illegal immigrant but gives it a nice barn and free food anyway.Neither cow gives any milk but that doesn't matter because the entiregovernment milk bill is on expenses and a friend of Gordon Brown ownsthe local supermarket, and for a free house and car he issues receiptsshowing milk at £100,000.00 a pint.[:D][:D]
Frederick
Town Halls will remove much of this resource wasting nonsense and compel local authorities to focus on essential services only.Dozens of village and town councils in offices ....existing to pass things onto the District Councils who.are in bigger offices and ..exist to pass the same things on to the County Council who are in huge offices ....why.? Cant they all meet under one roof at County level with less staff with a desk for each village and town for their business ?
