woolybanana
Are the E-forms for health cover accepted throughout the EU or is it only some countries, svp?
AnOther
I thought that they were pretty standardised throughout the EU member states and the change from E111 to EHIC was part of that, but I'm happy to be corrected on the point.Of course what you are actually entitled to is still determined by each state's individual scheme. Benjamin
Are the E-forms for health cover accepted throughout the EU or is it only some countries, svp?
I believe the DWP produce a booklet detailing where E-forms can be used. May be a quick look on their web site could help?

AnOther
This site seems to give a breakdown of arrangements between the major states:http://www.grensarbeider.nl/gp/gp-link3.php?pe=pl-de-overheidand this for recently joined members:http://ec.europa.eu/eures/main.jsp?&countryId=&accessing=0&content=1&restrictions=0&step=0&acro=free&lang=en
Will
E forms are pretty much standard throughout the EEA - which is the EU plus a couple of other European countries, i.e. Switzerland and Norway. The important think to bear in mind is that an E form entitles you to not to the sort of care you would get under the Sécu or NHS but to the same level of state healthcare as any other normal resident of the country where you are in residence, which in many cases amounts to the square root of diddly squat.
