Bugsy
Don't go into the loft wearing slippers.I did, yesterday and when coming down slipped and fell down from the loft to the floor, a distance of some three metres. To say I experienced pain is a real understatement. An ambulance took me to Poitiers hospital where I spend seven hours being x-rayed and treated. It took three hours before I got x-rayed and four before I saw the doctor.I now have a damaged right foot and have torn the tendon from my left bicep. Lucky in a way in that no broken bones and I landed feet-first onto the stone floor.Being left-handed, I'm finding typing with my right-hand rather difficult [:D]Bugger !!!. AnOther
Bad luck, hope you feel better soon. Count yourself lucky being a leftie as you can do 100x more with your right hand than any rightie can with their left [;-)]What were Safety Tips 1 to 36 BTW [:)]
Théière
The same advice should apply to flip flops, seen so many accidents with people in those especially around boats. Glad your OK that was quite a fall.
just john
I now have torn the tendon from my left bicep. [:D] Bugger !!!
I imagine you tore the bicep in a desperate attempt to clutch at the loft hatch and stop your fall?Get well soon, but while you're recuperating, probably best not get a Parrot[:D]
