pachapapa Posted February 7, 2011 Author Share Posted February 7, 2011 Part of the problem was that she got the 7th and the 3rd verse mixed up and sang, "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming", when she should have sung, "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?".Of course not everyone noticed this but the ardent Tea Party members present DID know the words, leading to some confusion.There you are and it is not a song about flat footed ducks, like you thought.
