Chancer
Very nice! The styling is only slightly removed from the first Nissan 240Z's or Marcos's but exquisitely executed, I am surprised that no_one ever made a kit car resembling the E-type, yes I know that there were some copies but the Growler (awfull name) is a definite improvement. Araucaria
My memory of the original E-Type was that it didn't have great fat tyres: seen from road level from either straight ahead or (much safer) from straight behind, they looked distinctly narrow. Perhaps that's just by today's standards. But it might just be that my memory is at fault, as this isn't borne out by a google image search. Mind you, most of the pictures seem to show the later models. Has anyone any idea what tyres were fitted to the earliest examples?

Araucaria
Thanks very much Anton - and 6.40 x 15 is a modern 165/100 R15, as fitted to fairly small cars (though in lower profiles) nowadays, for example the Ford Fiesta, so I think I wasn't imagining the original size of the E-Type's tyres after all. Anton Redman II
9600HP was fast but dainty and had everything Jaguar could throw at it to acheive 150 mph.
