woolybanana
Well, the boys called her a naughty name. So what, all small boys do that. What had they actually done wrong? Or is it right for a number of adults to browbeat them this way when a smack in the gob by their fathers would have been just as effective? And would they have received the same treatment if they had called a male copper 'PC Stud' or 'Droopy Dick'? I doubt it.And finally, did the boys get to see the offended nipples so they could judge for themselves the offence they had called to these sensitive little chappies, just nestling there, waiting to be awoken.......?http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8370947/Pc-Nipples-and-her-colleagues-taught-boys-a-lesson-on-name-calling.html
idun
I'm sure that this woman and her colleagues have been called worse and will be, such is life. I think it should have been handled differently, but why oh why did the father complain. I am sick of parents who don't think that their kid is other than perfect. Quillan
I loved the comments, they are always the best bits. You can see through them why things are as they are in the UK, sometimes it makes you sad to be a man. I would have got a clip round the ear by the PC and my dad. Benjamin
This woman is clearly Assistant Chief Constable material. Some poor unsuspecting Plod will greet her one wintry day with the words." Morning Ma'am. Bit chilly this morning."Bang goes his chance of any promotion. [6]Seriously though, I spent the first five years of my life either suckling at my Mother's breast or being envelopped by them as a comfort for some long forgotten reason. Of course we males have a fixation and considering my upbringing I can fully see why.

Quillan
Making mountains out of molehills, if you ask me.
In the past I would say your right but now neither the parents, schools or police normally can discipline or want to discipline the minority of children who behave like this and so it leads to other things if not stopped. It's all about boundaries, we were all kids, we tested for our boundaries with our parents, schools etc but if you have no boundaries then you have a problem. Fifty years ago we knew when we got to the boundary because we got a smack and told not to do it again, can't do that anymore.
JSKS
Quillan. It was meant as a joke especially when you remember that one of the terms of abuse was ''PC Nipples''.Clearly, it only appealed to my twisted mind.
Théière
With so many more important issues in the country it's more chip paper for tomorrow, guarantee the WPC will be called that name until way after she retires now.
