I think it's a pity that she feels she has to preserve her youthful looks, tragic even because truly she hasn't. I saw Helen Mirren on TV last week talking about a forthcoming film, and in the unforgiving light of morning, you could see the wrinkles. It was comforting.As for me, I preserve my own illusion of youth by taking my glasses off when looking in a mirror. And after some training, I now never look at myself in shop windows.
